Castle Val
Every year since 1974, the Château has hosted exhibitions in partnership with the Galerie Christiane Vallé in Clermont-Ferrand. Built in the 15th century on a rocky spur more than 30 meters high, the Château's environment was altered by the construction of the Bort-les-Orgues hydroelectric dam in 1952. The valley it once overlooked was filled with water, and the château is now situated on a peninsula offering an exceptional, bucolic setting.
