Description

The vallée du Mars (Mars valley), also named Le Falgoux valley, is one of the deepest valleys in the Cantal. The river has its source in the glacial cirque of Le Falgoux, delimited by the Suc Gros, the Puy de la Tourte, the Puy Mary, Roche Taillade and the Roc des Ombres. Towards the Pas de Peyrols and Puy Mary, the road enters the forest and becomes narrower and steeper. If you are lucky you might see chamois, marmots and deers.
