Saint-Pierre monastery

Description

Appears to have been founded as early as 6th c., and built again in the 9th c..

It has been extensively reshaped over the centuries due to changes or destruction. The capitular room (11thc.) is adorned with columns from a gallo-roman building. The eastern gallery in the cloister displays Romanesque and gothic features.
