The centre, with its fine 19th-century town houses, is crossed by the RD42 and has two squares. One is dominated by a sumptuous lime tree known as the "Sully", which attracts pétanque players and anyone else looking for a cool spot during the summer. The other is more commercial, with a grocery shop, bar-restaurant, town hall and post office.
The upper part of the village, facing south, is ideal for walkers who want to stroll along and admire the Bertrande valley and the Cantal mountains, pay their respects at the "Croix du Ciel" and take advantage of the microclimate enjoyed by this part of the commune.
