Open door workshop at Véronique Sustrac, watercolor engraver.
Visit of the workshop with explanations and demonstrations of engraving techniques: engraving with a chisel, dry point, monotype, embossing and printing on an intaglio press.
Open every afternoon from March 27th to March 31th, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., and April 1st and 2nd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Atelier Artygeorges, paintings restorer- Montclard - Anglards-de-Salers
During the European Days of Crafts, the Atelier d'Artygeorges, restorer of old paintings and frames, opens its doors. Presentation at the workshop of the different stages of the restoration process.

The public will have the opportunity to observe on site in the workshop the entire process of restoring old paintings and frames.
Several works will be installed in order to illustrate the techniques and successive moments of the restoration : cleaning, consolidation, chromatic retouching, relining, varnishing... and for the frames: reconstitution of the missing moldings with silicone moldings, molding of the missing parts or deteriorated, sanding, stripping, puttying, and finally gold leaf gilding.
These demonstrations will take place at the entrance of Montclard, in a typical Auvergne house with green shutters, and will be accompanied by comments and explanations while restoring the restoration process in the more general context of art history. .

9 craftsmen settle for three days in the castle of Anjony... Pursuing the ambition carried by the department, Tournemire intends to defend and promote excellence and innovation on its territory.
This year, the JEMA propose to "sublimate the daily life". A promising theme that illustrates the importance of Art in our daily lives! Selected for the quality of their know-how, their capacity for innovation, and their involvement in the local dynamic, the craftsmen will make you discover their know-how in the sumptuous decor of the Château d'Anjony.

The Atelier La TRAME offers demonstrations and workshops.
Discover this very cheerful and colorful weaving, where materials from recycling are used : old clothes, fabric scraps, the remains of different yarns.
By weaving the strip we never have two identical pieces, because we never know which fabrics, which colors and which invoices we will recover! And recovery, "upcycling", is what is best for our environment, it's green !
I invite you to come to my workshop to learn about this technique, discover the necessary steps for creation and to weave a few rows in a collective work, it's not difficult - even beginners and children can do it !
It is for everyone.

Lighting manufacturers, Annie and Joël invite you to their boutique workshop An activity unique in France: association of ceramics made in situ (stems and corollas) and work on eggs (cleaning, decoration, engraving...).

>For ceramics, earthenware work on a potter's crusty machine and explanations on assembling lamp bases and making corollas.
>For the eggs, piercing the ostrich eggshell with dental turbine and detailed explanation of the final decoration.
All this in a friendly setting to present to you lamps that we hope will be completed after 12 years of research.
