Description

A medieval castrum situated on a rocky spur, the Towers of Merle rise up in the heart of a preserved nature. Built by 6 families of Lords between the 12th and 15th centuries, the Towers of Merle are a jewel of the medieval Limousin that arouse the imagination of young and old alike...

With the help of the self-guided tour booklet (in FR, EN, NL and DE) and the riddle game, discover the castrum and its viewpoints. During the holiday period, numerous "Naturally medieval" activities and guided tours are offered.
Pushchairs not recommended. Very difficult access for people with reduced mobility. Dogs allowed on a lead. Good shoes are recommended.
Part of the reception area is under construction in 2023, which may cause some inconvenience. We thank you for your understanding.
